The Chacana Center is not only a shamanic healing center; it is also a shamanic school, community, and we organize several international retreats throughout the year.
Having an energy healing session at the Chacana Center connects the mysteries of the Peruvian Q’ero Shaman of the Andes with modern life. We offer shamanic, Reiki, and sound healings. A nurse and a social worker also offer Shamanic services joined with the knowledge of their formal education. From spiritual mentorship to modern applications, the Chacana Center facilitates the duality of the old and the new.
As a school, the Chacana Center takes students through the Peruvian medicine wheel at two levels: Munay Ki, which are the initiation rites to become a Shaman, and Mesa, the dedicated shamanic training.
Chacana offers a number of free community events every month: 2 moon ceremonies, a women’s group, and a men’s group. These are opportunities for making friends, learning new ideas, and experiencing what we have to offer at the Chacana Center.
We embark on international spiritual retreats every year, traveling to exotic locations to experience local cultures and spiritual beliefs. Shannon Davis, head Shaman and retreat facilitator, weaves the Peruvian medicine wheel into our discussions while we embrace new experiences at sacred locations throughout the world.
